Murrieta Race Weekend is a community-wide celebration combining fitness, family fun, and live entertainment in the heart of the city. Spanning over two days, the weekend brings together Murrieta’s signature Tour de Murrieta bike race, a community 5K, and an evening concert in the park.
Kicking off the weekend is the 21st Annual Tour de Murrieta on March 28 and 29, featuring the most competitive race teams in California. On the race’s 21st anniversary, the courses remain downtown, with Saturday’s event featuring a festival atmosphere including an exposition area, food and beverages, music, and the ever-popular kids’ race.
The Murrieta 5K kicks off on March 29 at 7 a.m. A community run through the heart of Historic Downtown Murrieta, the Murrieta 5K welcomes timed runners, walkers, strollers, and even dogs. Designed to be inclusive and approachable, this event is suitable for participants of all ages and abilities.
Spend Saturday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. with a free, family-friendly concert at Town Square Park & Amphitheater, featuring live music from Shockwave and local food and beverage vendors.
