The City of Lake Elsinore Economic Development Department has launched the Lake Elsinore Restaurant & Retail Survey 2026, a community-wide initiative designed to support local business growth, guide future recruitment strategies, and enhance shopping and dining options throughout the city.
Lake Elsinore residents, business owners, and stakeholders are invited to complete the survey to share feedback on the types of restaurants, retail stores, and services they would like to see locally. Survey responses are confidential.
The survey topics include restaurant and dining preferences and experiences, retail categories residents want to see locally, shopping and dining habits, including where residents currently spend, priorities for neighborhood services and commercial amenities, and ideas to support business recruitment and local expansion.
“This survey allows us to make data-informed decisions that support both business attraction and retention,” Economic Development Director Gina Gonzalez said. “Community input tells us what’s working, what’s missing, and whether preferences have shifted since our previous baseline survey. That insight helps us pursue the right mix of businesses for Lake Elsinore.”
The survey will be available from March 16 through March 29. The results will help the city better understand changing consumer preferences, identify gaps in the market, and strengthen economic development and business attraction efforts. To take the survey, click here.
