A fatal three-vehicle collision in Lake Elsinore on Sunday evening left one driver dead and two other drivers in critical condition.
On March 15 at approximately 9:30 p.m., deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a major injury traffic collision in the area of Highway 74 and Trellis Lane. The crash involved three vehicles, with all three drivers suffering major injuries. Each driver was transported to local hospitals in critical condition, where one driver succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The identity of the deceased driver is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation. No arrests have been made.
