On Friday, March 13, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station conducted at DUI/Driver’s License Checkpoint, screening 538 vehicles.
Three drivers were arrested for DUI, 16 drivers were cited for not having a valid license, and two drivers were cited for driving on a suspended license. Additionally, one felony arrest was made, and 10 vehicles were towed.
The checkpoint was part of ongoing efforts to enhance roadway safety and remove impaired drivers from the streets.
