One person was killed and another was critically injured in a skydiving incident this afternoon in the City of Perris.
Shortly before 2 p.m., emergency crews responded to reports of traumatic injuries involving skydivers in the 600 block of E. Ellis Ave. According to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, one patient was pronounced dead at the scene, and a second patient in critical condition was transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance.
No other injuries were reported. The cause of the incident has not yet been released.
