Deputies issued 43 speeding citations and stopped a wrong-way driver during an enforcement operation on Romona Expressway on August 21.
The Perris Sheriff’s Station Traffic Team conducted the enforcement operation along Ramona Expressway between Rider Street and Bradley Road, targeting motorists traveling at unsafe speeds.
During the operation, deputies issued 43 speeding citations to motorists traveling at unsafe speeds, and stopped a wrong-way driver.
“Speeding and wrong-way driving can have devastating consequences,” the department said. “Our goal is simple: keep everyone on the road safe. Please obey the speed limit and drive responsibly.”
