The Canyon Lake Veterans and First Responders group invites all Canyon Lake veterans and first responders to attend a barbecue on Saturday, May 8, at 2 p.m at Holiday Harbor Park. This will be a potluck-style barbecue.
“Bring food, your family, and games,” said the group’s president, Joseph John. “It’s going to be an awesome time and we look forward to seeing you all there.”
The Canyon Lake Veterans and First Responders group was formed in July 2020 by five Canyon Lake residents who wanted to offer support and comradery to the men and women in the community who have or had careers in the same field. The group currently meets monthly on the second Saturday at 2 p.m. at the picnic tables at Holiday Harbor Park.
The group recently submitted a sanctioned club application to the POA with the hopes that the board will approve the group as an official POA sanctioned club.
