The Canyon Lake Little League will be kicking off its 2023 season with Friday Night Lights on Friday, March 3, featuring a Major Division game between the River Bandits and the Trash Pandas. The snack bar will be offering tacos for $3 each or 3 for $7.
Opening Day kicks off on Saturday, March 4, at 8 a.m. From 8 to 10 a.m., the snack bar will be serving a breakfast of pancakes and sausage for $6.
Teams will be entering the field at 9:45 a.m. for Opening Day ceremonies. Ceremonies start at 10 a.m. and include a parade of players, a welcome from the president, the national anthem, and the first pitch.
Games will start at the conclusion of the ceremonies. Major players will be manning the grill and serving hotdogs, hamburgers, and brats.
Canyon Lake Little League serves Boys and girls ages four to 14 who reside in Canyon Lake, Canyon Hills, and Westridge. All home games at played at Canyon Lake’s Gault Field.
