The Canyon Lake Lions Club is celebrating the close of another successful fiscal year by giving back to 20 organizations that make a difference in the region.
June marks the end of the Lions Club’s fiscal year, and with it comes one of the organization’s most anticipated traditions—making annual donations to the charities supported through a year of fundraising efforts.
This year, the Lions Club donated more than $12,000 to a variety of local, regional, and national organizations. The funds were raised through the club’s popular Sunday bingo sessions at the Canyon Lake Senior Center and biannual Bingo Bash events held at the Canyon Lake Lodge.

The 2025-26 donation recipients include Animal Friends of the Valleys, California Lions Friends in Sight, Canyon Lake Bosom Buddies, Canyon Lake Family Matters Club, Canyon Lake Senior Center, Dream Center, Guide Dogs of the Desert, Helping Hands HOPE Food Pantry, Lions Canine Companions, Lions Clubs International Foundation–Texas Flood Victims, Lions Diabetes Camp, Lions Kids Sight Foundation, Lions Student Speaker Foundation, Lions Rose Bowl Parade Float, Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center, No Drama Ranch, Planet Youth, Sparks of Love, and World Services for the Blind.

The Lions Club expressed its gratitude to the community members who attended their fundraising events throughout the year, noting that every bingo card purchased helped make these donations possible.
The Lion Club bingo fundraisers are held on the first and third Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Canyon Lake Senior Center. Doors open at 12 p.m. The cost is $13 for a 10-pack of bingo sheets that cover all regular games. Two special games are available for $1 each. There is also a hot ball opportunity for $1. Daubers are available for purchase. Payouts for each game depend on the number of players. Players must be 18 or older. All proceeds go toward the various charities supported by the Canyon Lake Lions Club.
