Jane and Jim Lafferty found love on a blind date arranged by Jim’s sister. They married on July 3, 2014, at a courthouse in San Diego, followed by a celebration with family and friends at the Mission Inn. They have a blended family of five children, nine grandchild, and two great-grandchildren.
Jane relocated from San Diego to Canyon Lake in 2009. Jim left Bakersfield and joined her in 2013. They built their home in Canyon Lake in 2015.
“We love the neighborhood and love living here,” Jane said. “We feel like we’re at a resort every day. We love our friends and the clubs we’re in, the companionship has been wonderful.”
Jane and Jim are members of the Canyon Lake Yacht Club and Fine Arts Guild. Jane is a member of the Woman’s Club and 9ers Golf Club.
The Laffertys plan to celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary with an overnight stay at South Coast Winery and Resort.
