The Canyon Lake 9ers Women’s Golf Club celebrated its 2025 scholarship recipients on June 1 at the home of Joan Stribling, the club’s treasurer.
This year’s event featured a festive tropical theme, complete with mocktails, pineapples, leis, and an assortment of appetizers donated by the 9ers Board of Directors.
The celebration began with a lei greeting, food and drinks, and a presentation highlighting the history of the club’s scholarship program, followed by the presentation of the scholarships.
The Continuing Scholar/Athlete Scholarship recipients are McKensie Cassara, Emma Cole, and Kaylin Kielty. The Scholar/Athlete Scholarship recipients are Ian Cardozo, Veronica Garza, Chloe Santolucito, Luke Thomas, Kaliah Watkins, Nic Welty, and Isabel Zamora. The Trade/Vocational Scholarship was awarded to Lincoln Kingdon.
A total of 11 students were honored during the event, with all recipients in attendance except McKenzie Cassara, who was unable to attend due to being away at college.
