Members of the Canyon Lake Association of Men (CLAMS) gathered at Holiday Harbor Park for a tri-tip and barbecue ribs picnic to honor 96-year-old Harry Larson, who is stepping down as the club’s president.

Larson was presented with a trophy in appreciation for his service to the CLAMS for the past 12 years and for leading the organization as the president for the past seven years.

“I’m honored,” Larson said. “I appreciate being acknowledged for my years of service.”

While Larson is stepping down as president, he will still be serving the organization in the capacity of president emeritus. Vice President Mark Inkrote will be stepping into the president position.

The CLAMS is a nonprofit organization that has been in existence for more than 40 years. With the help of volunteers, the organization raises money to help those in need.

Membership is open to all Canyon Lake men who have a desire for friendship, volunteering, fundraising, and fun. For more information, email [email protected]
