In the spirit of November being the month of giving thanks and helping those in need, Yard Fresh, a pet waste management company based in Canyon Lake, organized a Blanket Drive to support Animal Friends of the Valleys.
Yard Fresh owners Monica and Troy Lyons set up donation bins in eight locations around Canyon Lake, Murrieta, and Temecula. Throughout November, the couple appealed to community members to donate new or gently used blankets and quilts.
As a result of their efforts, 106 bags of blankets, four dog beds, three boxes of toys, one box of leashes, and three boxes of dog clothes were collected. These bundles of warmth were delivered to Animal Friends of the Valleys on December 1.
Yard Fresh’s commitment to both environmental responsibility and community welfare shines through in this initiative, proving that small acts of kindness can collectively create a significant impact.
