The Mermaids of Canyon Lake Club is once again embarking on a mission to give back to the community and raise funds for its charitable causes by curating a 2025 wall calendar showcasing the beauty of Canyon Lake, featuring photos submitted by residents.
The success of the calendar depends on the support of sponsors purchasing advertising space within the calendar. For $30, sponsors can secure a 1-inch space on a single day of the calendar. Multiple days may be purchased; however, there is a maximum of one space per month per sponsor.
A larger ad space, 2.5 x 2.5 inches (1250 x 1250 px), is available for $90. The last two pages of the calendar are blank pages, where sponsors can feature a 1-inch logo ad for $25.
Last year, more than 50 sponsors supported this initiative, allowing the club to distribute 2,000 free calendars to community members, while still having surplus funds to donate to the club’s charitable causes.
Once the sponsor spaces are filled, the club will hold a photo contest to select the images that will grace the 12 months of the 2025 calendar. The photos will be selected by a professional photographer.
The winners whose photos are featured on the months of the calendar will receive $50. The winner of the photo selected to be featured on the front page of the calendar will receive $100.
