Emerging in 1966, Canned Heat attained three worldwide hits: “On the Road Again” in 1968, “Let’s Work Together” in 1970, and “Going Up the Country” in 1969. Canned Heat can boast of collaborations with John Mayall, Little Richard, and blues icon John Lee Hooker.

The legendary band secured their niche in rock and roll history with their performances at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival and headlining slot at the original Woodstock Festival. Now, more than fifty years later and with forty albums to their credit, Canned Heat is still going strong.

“This is a band that performed at Woodstock, the most popular music event in history and the largest music festival of all time,” said Doug Schultz, producer of Concerts at the Lodge. “With their cool vibe and indelible sound, including international hits like “Going up the Country” and “On the Road Again,” many say that they are the best rock and blues band of all time.”

The opening act for this concert will be announced on a later date.
