The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce has officially announced that Johnny Pineda is now serving as the organization’s president.
Pineda, a seasoned insurance executive with more than 30 years of experience in sales, leadership, and team development, has built and led high-performing teams, driven significant revenue growth, and fostered lasting client relationships. Passionate about mentorship and business development, Pineda specializes in scaling operations, optimizing sales strategies, and creating a culture of success. With a deep commitment to community engagement, he actively supports local businesses and economic growth through chamber initiatives.
Pineda steps into the president role following the leadership of John Grande, who had been serving as acting president during the chamber’s search for a permanent successor.
Grande provided steady guidance and stability during the transition, helping ensure the chamber’s continued support for local businesses. He will now transition into the role of secretary/treasurer.
The chamber also announced that Rick Tobin will take on dual roles. Tobin, who currently serves as the director of outreach, will take on additional responsibilities as the director of events.
With Pineda at the helm, the chamber looks forward to its next chapter of growth, community engagement, and business advocacy.
The chamber’s leadership also includes Bob Hurst, who serves as the director of sponsorship, and Roger Hillard, who serves as the director of membership. Tony Schwartzman serves in the supporting role of communications coordinator, and Nathan Streater serves in the supporting role of coordinator of volunteers.
The chamber is currently seeking a qualified member to fill the vice president position. Until the position is filled, Pineda will serve in the dual roles of president and acting vice president.
