The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors selected Patriotic Arms as the January 2022 Business of the month.

“The directors unanimously agreed that Patriotic Arms’ enthusiastic support of the chamber’s Parade of Frights event and their long-term involvement in the community makes them an excellent recipient of the recognition,” President Jeanne O’Dell said.

Patriotic Arms was founded in 2016 by Canyon Lake residents Veronica and Johnny Juarez. The veteran-owned and operated business offers firearm sales – new and used, firearm transfers, in-house gunsmithing, ammo sales, firearm accessories, optic mounting bore sighting, and stippling.

Patriotic Arms gives back to the community in many ways, including supporting and sponsoring chamber events, veteran events, club events, and various community events.

When Patriotic Arms learned that the newly formed Canyon Lake Veterans and First Responders group didn’t have a customized E-Z UP for their events, Patriotic Arms purchased one for them.

In April, the couple attended the Wakeboard Club’s Learn to Ride Day in true Patriot Arms style – with 20 free pizzas for the volunteers and riders.

During the Fourth of July weekend, Patriotic Arms gave away boxes of T-shirts to campers at Happy Camp. On a hot summer day, they paid for a Kona Ice truck to park at the beach and give away shaved ice to anyone who wanted one.

In October, Patriotic Arms sponsored the chamber’s Parade of Frights Halloween event. On Veterans Day, they teamed up with four local businesses to provide veterans with free pizzas and drinks.

In November, Patriotic Arms supported the city’s Pizza with Police event by purchasing desserts for everyone in attendance and extra pizzas. They also hosted a Toys for Tots Toy Drive in November.

In December, Patriotic Arms teamed up with eight local businesses to provide kids in the community with toys and letters from Santa. The couple personally delivered many of them in elf suits.

The Juarezes said they are “thankful” and “extremely grateful” to be recognized by the chamber and their community.
