Canyon Lake Chronic Illness Support Group to meet March 6

The Canyon Lake Chronic Illness Group will be holding its next meeting on Monday, March 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the Canyon Lake Country Club. Reservations are not required.

The Chronic Illness Group is a support group, not a medical group. Meetings are free and open to anyone who has a chronic medical condition or illness. Caretakers are also welcome.

The Chronic Illness Support Group was formed in March 2018 by Canyon Lake resident Steven Prince, who suffered five strokes between May 2014 and October 2015. Prince formed the support group to bring together individuals who have similar issues so they may benefit from mutual support in a safe environment.

“The meetings are safe, positive, supportive, informative, encouraging, and confidentiality is of the utmost importance,” Prince said. “No one understands a chronic illness except other people with a chronic illness.”

For more information, contact Steven Prince at 949-293-2919.
