Canyon Lake residents will have an opportunity to meet the candidates running for Canyon Lake City Council during a Meet the Candidates Forum on Monday, September 21, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the Canyon Lake Lodge.
Hosted by the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce, Meet the Candidates is designed to give residents an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates, ask questions, and learn more about their experience, priorities, and vision for Canyon Lake.
Three candidates are vying for two seats on the council. The candidates are incumbent Jeremy Smith, business owner and current mayor; Monica Lyons, business owner; and Paul Kakis, healthcare executive.
Due to a scheduling conflict, Kakis will appear remotely.
The Canyon Lake Chamber is encouraging community members to attend and participate in the conversation.
