Canyon Lake City Council recognizes golf pro Pat Kemball

The Canyon Lake City Council recently recognized Pat Kemball for his contributions to the community through his dedication to the year-round Jr. Golf Academy and week-long Jr. Golf Camp at the Canyon Lake golf course.

Drawing an annual attendance of 200 to 400, Kemball’s Jr. Golf Camp program provides a dynamic platform for kids to cultivate lifelong skills in golf, while fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship. This initiative stands as a testament to Kemball’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of golf enthusiasts.

In addition to his commitment to Canyon Lake youth, Kemball actively supports the Canyon Lake adult golf clubs by lending his expertise in organizing and executing tournaments, further enriching the golfing experience for golf enthusiasts of all ages.

Kemball is an award-winning PGA director of golf. In 2016, Fore Magazine awarded Pat with the recognition of Best PGA Pro in Southern California. In 2018, Kemball was recognized as the SCPGA Inland Empire Teacher of the Year.

In 1988 and 1990, Kemball won the Province of Manitoba Assistant GPA Championships. In 1988, 1992, and 1994, Kemball won the PGA Provincial Championship. He was named the Manitoba GPA Player of the Year five times.
