Canyon Lake City Council to recognize outgoing mayor, appoint new mayor for 2026

On Wednesday, December 10, the Canyon Lake City Council will conduct its annual reorganization, a process in which the council selects a new mayor and mayor pro tem who will serve for the upcoming year.

As part of the reorganization, Mayor Terry will be recognized for his leadership and contributions over the past year. Mayor Terry has been a visible and engaged representative of Canyon Lake, supporting local organizations, attending community events, and advocating for Canyon Lake businesses.

Following recognition, the council will proceed with the selection of the mayor and mayor pro tem for 2026. The reorganization requires a minimum of three affirmative votes for each appointment.
