The City of Canyon Lake is partnering with CR&R to host its annual Community Clean-Up on Saturday, May 16, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Canyon Lake Community Church parking lot at 30515 Railroad Canyon Rd. Shredding services will also be available.

Held exclusively for Canyon Lake residents, participants will be asked to show proof of residency.

Acceptable items for disposal include furniture, yard waste, large appliances, electronic waste, cooking and motor oil, antifreeze, and common household batteries.

Non-acceptable items include tires, car parts, household hazardous waste, and construction materials. Commercial and business dumping will not be permitted.

In addition to document shredding, attendees can take part in a compost giveaway. The nutrient-rich compost is perfect for yards, potted plants, or spring gardens. A limited supply of bags and shovels will be available, and compost will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

For more information, contact Canyon Lake City Hall at 951-244-2955.
