Photo provided by Kelly Lopez.The Canyon Lake Community Gardeners Club will be hosting a Fairy Garden Workshop on Saturday, August 5, at 10:30 at Sierra Park, and a free Pickling Class the following weekend.
The Fairy Garden Workshop is open to members and non-members of the club. All ages are welcome. Registration is $20 per person and includes all supplies.
The club will be hosting a free members-only Pickling Class on Sunday, August 13, at 2 p.m. at the home of Kelly Lopez. Participants should bring large, clean jars, such as empty peanut butter or spaghetti sauce jars, and any vegetables they would like to pickle, such as red bell pepper, onions, or carrots. Non-members who would like to attend this class must purchase an annual club membership prior to the class. Annual membership is $25.

Formed in February 2022, the Community Gardeners Club was approved as a POA sanctioned club in May 2022. The state granted the club 501(c)3 status in June 2022. Donations are tax-deductible.
