The Canyon Lake community is mourning the loss of longtime POA employee Michael Marron, whose sudden passing on January 26 came as a shock to the many community members who knew him.
Marron was a 26-year-old line cook at the Canyon Lake Golf & Country Club and had been part of the Canyon Lake POA staff since the age of 17. Over the years, he became a familiar and friendly face to coworkers and residents alike.
Outside of work, Marron was a devoted Los Angeles Dodgers fan who loved cheering on his favorite team.
Marron was recently married, making this loss especially difficult for those who knew and loved him.
The Canyon Lake POA announced Marron’s passing during the February 3 Board of Directors meeting.
