The Canyon Lake community welcomed Santa back on Sunday for the 40th Annual Tree Lighting Festival at the lodge.

Hosted by the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association and the Jr. Women’s Club, the Tree Lighting Festival featured a Ferris wheel, a rock climbing wall, a gingerbread bounce house, a 360 photo booth, balloon animal creators, a face painter, a petting zoo, food vendors, and holiday music.

The Canyon Lake Fire Department escorted Santa to the lodge on Engine 1. The community gathered around Santa and the massive lodge tree for the official tree lighting.

Following the tree lighting, Santa posed for photos with families for about two hours next to the Christmas tree in the Holiday Bay Room.

Santa will be returning to Canyon Lake for the city’s Winter Wonderland on Saturday, December 3, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Towne Center. For more information about Winter Wonderland, click here.
