“Fifty-six years ago a young, tall, skinny Bob Faught put my diamond ring on my finger,” Kathy Faught said. “The diamond was rather small, but his love was huge. I’m so glad I said yes. Our life continues to be an adventure and we love being together.”
Kathy and Bob met at a church function in Inglewood when Kathy was 13 years old and Bob was 15 years old.
“We spent a lot of time dancing in our youth and courtship,” Kathy said. Later, they attended Brigham Young University together.
The couple married in a church service in Los Angeles and spent many years traveling across the U.S and abroad.
Kathy and Bob have two children, Debbie Cocanour of Canyon Lake and Ken Faught of Corona, and three grandchildren. They raised their family in Santa Ana where they lived for 41 years.
Kathy and Bob relocated to Canyon Lake in 2013. “We love it here,” Kathy said. “We love the community, friendliness, and small-town feel of Canyon Lake. It is so much fun being in a community where we can ride around in our golf cart and wave to neighbors.”
