This year, Dock-or-Treat was added to the growing list of Canyon Lake Halloween events. Organized by residents Jessica and Kalon Morris and Tricia and Craig Brown, Dock-or-Treat aimed at bringing the Halloween spirit down to the water.
Participants were encouraged to decorate their boats and docks and to wear Halloween costumes while trick-or-treating. An interactive map guided the boats to participating docks around the East Bay and main lake.
“For an inaugural event, it was a success,” Brown said. “We look forward to this event being even bigger and better next year.”
The Dock-or-Treat organizers are considering adding prizes next year for the best-decorated boat and best-decorated dock.
