To prepare for the upcoming Fiesta Day Parade on May 24, horses from the Canyon Lake Equestrian Center will be conducting a street condition test on Monday, May 19, at 4:45. The practice session is expect to last approximately one hour.
During this practice, traffic will be briefly halted by a lead vehicle with lights. Led by a second vehicle, the horses will exit the equestrian center and turn right on Longhorn Drive, left on Hoofbeat Way, and continue following the route around Big Range Road before crossing over Longhorn Drive to the equestrian center.
Held annually since 1973, Fiesta Day is considered the granddaddy of all Canyon Lake events. Fiesta Day kicks off with a hometown parade at 9 a.m.
