Canyon Lake Fiesta Day Park Hopper: Three days of celebration

Canyon Lake’s three-day Fiesta Day Park Hopper kicks off tonight and runs through Sunday, offering three days of fun, food, and festivities. Held annually since 1973, Fiesta Day is considered the granddaddy of all Canyon Lake events.

The highlight of Fiesta Day is the hometown parade, taking place on Saturday, May 25. This year’s grand marshal is Lynn Jensen, a former long-time POA employee. The parade is followed by two days of free activities and entertainment at various locations around the community. Free golf cart and boat shuttle services will be available on Saturday.

The schedule is as follows:

Friday, May 24

  • Lodge/Pool
    • Movie Night at the pool
    • Tiki Treats in the parking lot

Saturday, May 25

  • Parade
    • The parade will start at 9 a.m. at Canyon Lake Drive North and Mayflower Drive and end at Vacation Drive and Lighthouse Drive. For parade information, click here. For information about street closures and no parking locations, click here.
  • East Port Park (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
    • Music with DJ Taylor
    • Tubs ride
    • Air joust
    • Water slide

    • Movie Night in the Park at dusk (free popcorn or cotton candy to the first 150 people)

    • Mini paddle boats (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
    • Tiki Treats and lodge specials (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
