Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild announces 2022 board, concert dates

The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild announced its new 2022 board of directors. Per the Guild’s bylaws, directors serve a three-year term.

Bonnie Dubbs was elected to serve another term as president. Her fellow board members include Larry Garland, vice president and operations; Shari Skidmore, secretary; Rhonda Pilto, treasurer; and Kasey Castillo; governance. Brian Wood, membership, and Chris Papavero, security and publicity, will continue to serve the remaining two years of their terms.

“We would like to thank all the members who took the time to vote,” Dubbs said. “We received an enormous amount of response.”

The Guild’s 2022 memberships are still open. All concert tickets are available to the general public. VIP seats are already 75 percent sold out to every concert this year.

The Guild’s 2022 concert dates are as follows:

Saturday, March 26: ABBA FAB, a tribute to Abba
Saturday, May 14: Tennessee River, a tribute to Alabama
Saturday, July 16: 4NR Foreigner, a tribute to Foreigner
Saturday, September 24: Rag Dolls, a tribute to Aerosmith
Saturday, November, 5: Stone Soul, a tribute to Motown

All concerts will be held in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge except for the September 24 concert. The September 24 Aerosmith tribute concert will be a free community concert held at the amphitheater at Holiday Harbor Park.

All concerts held at the lodge start at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. A Guild members-only pre-concert reception starts at 5:30 p.m. in the downstairs room.
