The Canyon Lake Association of Men (CLAMS) held its monthly meeting on Wednesday evening at the county club. Members wore green and dined on corned beef and cabbage in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.

Canyon Lake Fire Chief Jeff LaTendresse attended as the guest speaker and spoke about the history of the Canyon Lake Fire Department and thanked the CLAMS members for their recent $1,000 donation toward a new barbecue for the barbecue island at the fire station.

The CLAMS is a nonprofit organization that has been in existence for more than 40 years. The organization welcomed six new members in the last two months.

The next meeting of the CLAMS will be held on Wednesday, April 20, at 6 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park. The picnic-style meeting will feature a barbecue for the members of the CLAMS and their families.

CLAMS membership is open to all Canyon Lake men who have a desire for friendship, volunteering, fundraising, and fun. With the help of volunteers, the organization raises money to help those in need. For more information, email [email protected] or visit www.canyonlakeassociationofmen.com.
