The Canyon Lake Fire Department will be hosting Donuts with Santa on Saturday, December 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Station 1.
Attendees with have the opportunity to capture memories with Santa beside Engine 1 and indulge in donuts, hot cocoa, and coffee. Santa’s workshop will be offering crafts for kids.
In the spirit of compassion and generosity, the fire department will be partnering with KABC Los Angeles and the Spark of Love Toy Drive again this year. This initiative collects new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for underserved children and teens in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura, and Riverside counties.
Residents can drop off their donations at the Donuts with Santa event or anytime through Sunday, December 24.
Last year, the department collected hundreds of toys and aims to surpass that collection this year to make an even greater impact on the lives of local children. All toys collected as part of this year’s Spark of Love Toy Drive will remain within the surrounding community.
