The Canyon Lake Fire Department is partnering with KABC Los Angeles and the Spark of Love Toy Drive again this year.
The firefighters of Fire Station 1 will be collecting new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment through Sunday, December 24.
A donation bin is located near the front door of the fire station for community members who would like to contribute to this cause. Firefighters will also be accepting donations during the fire department’s Donuts with Santa event on Saturday, December 16, between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Donations benefit underserved children and teens in need in Riverside, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, and Ventura counties.
Last year, the Canyon Lake Fire Department collected hundreds of toys and aims to surpass that collection this year to make an even greater impact on the lives of children.
