The Canyon Lake Fire Department is offering a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training workshop from February 21 through February 23 at Canyon Lake City Hall.
The CERT program is designed to educate people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and train them in basic disaster response skills.
Participants will learn crucial techniques, including fire safety, search and rescue techniques, and disaster medical operations.
By completing this workshop, participants will gain the knowledge and confidence to help their neighbors and community during times of crisis.
Attendance for all three days of training is required. Training hours are from 5 to 9 p.m. on February 21 and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on February 22 and February 23. For more information, click here or visit www.cityofcanyonlake.org/cert.
