In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in a show of support for the nation’s veterans, Canyon Lake firefighters will be donning pink T-shirts and camouflage hats with lavender lettering throughout the months of October and November.
The pink T-shirts serve as a powerful symbol to raise awareness about breast cancer, highlighting the critical importance of early detection.
By wearing these T-shirts, the department stands in solidarity with those currently battling breast cancer, as well as survivors who have bravely fought and won their battles.
The camouflage hats are a tribute to U.S. veterans and active-duty service members. The lavender lettering on the hats symbolizes the collective fight against all cancers.
Together, the firefighters aim to make an impact by raising awareness and showing their commitment to both cancer patients and veterans.
