Using a 9-iron club, Canyon Laker Richie Hamilton shot a hole-in-one during a skins game on Friday, August 7. It’s his third hole-in-one since he started golfing at the age of 40.
Richie’s wife, Eddy Hamilton, and friend, Joe Lemke, witnessed his shot on the 130-yard 15th hole. “I am the champ,” said Richie.
According to the National Hole-In-One Registry, the odds of an average amateur golfer making a hole-in-one are roughly 12,000 to one.
