Canyon Lake resident Bruce Wallace achieved a remarkable feat on February 16, scoring a hole-in-one on hole 17 from 170 yards. This adds to his impressive tally of five hole-in-ones, two of which he made in the past six months alone.

Wallace sank his first hole-in-one in Arizona in September 2004, followed by four more hole-in-ones on the Canyon Lake golf course.

According to the National Hole-In-One Registry, the odds of an average amateur golfer making a hole-in-one are roughly 12,000 to 1.

Wallace started playing golf in 1964. His passion for the sport shines through his active membership in the Canyon Lake Men’s Golf Club since 2005. As a past president of the club, Wallace is a lifetime member of the Canyon Lake Association of Past Presidents (CLAPPS). He was inducted and presented with the club’s traditional white jacket in 2021.
