Just a few yards away from where the fireworks are launched, Happy Camp is one of the most popular viewing spots to watch Canyon Lake’s Fourth of July fireworks show. For that reason, the POA holds a lottery to give members an equal opportunity to win a campsite reservation for the holiday.
Canyon Lake residents can sign up for the lottery through Friday, May 26. Only prime, co-owners, associate, and property manager member types may register for the lottery. Members must be in “good standing.” Signups are limited to one entry per tract-lot.
The lottery will stream live on the POA’s Facebook page on Friday, June 2, at 11 a.m. The POA will contact the winners to select their campsites. A three-day minimum reservation (Jul;y 2 through July 4) is required. Holiday rates apply. Waterfront campsites with full hookups cost $62 per day. Off-water campsites with full hookups cost $57 per day. Tent campsites cost $52 per day.
Campsite winners may cancel their reservations up until June 23. After June 23, reservations may not be canceled and winners who do not show up for their reservations will be charged the three-day minimum holiday rate. Reservations are non-transferable and may not be sold.
