Donated by the Canyon Lake Association of Past Presidents (CLAPPS), a classic street clock was installed on the golf course on Friday, February 9, 2018.
Manufactured by Electric Time Company, the clock is a small Howard two dial replica that stands nearly 11 feet tall and weighs approximately 280 pounds. The style can be seen at many premier golf courses and small towns across America.
The clock is set on a 3′ x 3′ concrete foundation with stainless steel anchor bolds. The installation was a joint effort of the Tuesday Work Group and POA Operations.
The cost of the clock, including installation, was just under $11,000. It was paid for by the funds raised from the annual Beautification Tournament. Hosted by the CLAPPS, the Beautification Tournament has a long history of raising funds for golf course improvements.
