Canyon Lake Jr. Golf Camp offers on-course training for kids five to 17

After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Canyon Lake Jr. Golf Camp is returning in July.

The camp is for kids ages five to 17 and runs from July 26 through July 29 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Classes for each age group are 1.5 hours (8 to 9:15 a.m., 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., and 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m.)

The week-long camp provides a fun way for kids to develop a lifelong skill in the game of golf and to learn fundamental skills, etiquette, rules, and sportsmanship.

Jr. Golf Camp concludes with a free barbecue for participants and their families.

Each participant receives a medal and a prize. The camp concludes with a free barbecue for participants and their families on Friday, July 29, at 3 p.m.

Registration is $50 per person (cash or check). Signups are taken at the Golf Shop. For more information, contact the Golf Shop at 951-246-1782.
