With school bells set to ring once again, the Canyon Lake Jr. Women’s Club is making sure local students are equipped and ready for a successful start to the new academic year.
Demonstrating its commitment to the community, the club has stepped up with two back-to-school initiatives.
First, the club purchased more than 100 backpacks and filled them with school supplies and water bottles. They were delivered to local students last week.
On August 2, the club hosted a School Supply and Clothing Drive at Indian Beach, where they accepted donations from community members. The donations will be distributed to local schools and organizations in the coming weeks, ensuring continued support for students in need.
These efforts aim to help children start the school year prepared and confident.
The Jr. Women’s Club’s dedication to supporting local youth and education is just one of the many ways it continues to make a meaningful impact in the community—one student at a time.
