The Canyon Lake Library will temporarily close to prepare to move to a new location in the Canyon Lake Towne Center.
After 21 years at its leased location in the City Hall building, the 2,711 square-foot library will close its doors on Saturday, March 20, at 3 p.m. as it prepares for the reopening at its new location at 31594 Railroad Canyon Rd.
The library’s new home is currently undergoing improvements to the 3,394 square-foot building to create a modern, state-of-the-art library that will offer enhanced services, programs, and technology.
The opening of the new library is tentatively scheduled for May of 2021.
The Canyon Lake Library contracts with the Riverside County Library System to provide library services.
