It’s all hands on deck for Canyon Lake Little League’s Field Clean-Up Day. The league is calling on players, parents, and community members to come together on Saturday, September 6, at 8 a.m. at Gault Field to help get the ballpark in top shape for the upcoming fall season.
From cleaning the dugouts to sprucing up the fields, there’s a task for everyone—no matter your age or skill level. Volunteers are needed to fill holes, replace bases, build up the pitcher’s mound, clean dugouts, rake leaves, pick up trash, and prepare the infield.
The league will have a limited amount of supplies. Volunteers who have shovels, gloves, wheelbarrows, brooms, rakes, and other supplies are asked to bring them.
The clean-up is more than just maintenance; it’s a chance to show pride in the community and support the league that brings kids together through America’s favorite pastime.
Many hands make light work, and the league encourages families to participate as a fun way to give back while teaching players the importance of teamwork both on and off the field.
Field Clean-Up Day will be held alongside an Equipment Swap, offering players an opportunity to donated gently used baseball equipment or swap equipment with other players. For more information about the league’s Equipment Swap, click here.
