The Canyon Lake Ski Club invites the community to experience world-class 3-event skiing by members of the Canyon Lake Ski Club and guests at the Canyon Lake Memorial Qualifier Tournament on September 19 and 20.
This two-day tournament attracts skiers from across the country, including the USA’s top-ranked jumpers, trickers, and slalom skiers.
The tournament will kick off with slalom skiing on Saturday, September 19 at 7:30 a.m. at the north ski area, followed by jump skiing around 12 p.m. at the Jump Lagoon.
On Sunday, September 20, the second round of slalom skiing will start at 7:30 at the north ski area, followed by trick skiing.
Spectators can watch slalom and trick skiing on the big screen at the pavilion, while jump skiing can be viewed live from the sidelines at the Jump Lagoon on Longhorn Drive.
Founded in 1969, the Ski Club was one of the first organized clubs in Canyon Lake and is an affiliated club of USA Water Ski, the national governing body for towed watersports in the United States underneath the United States Olympic Committee. The Ski Club has established itself as one of the nation’s most successful ski clubs by hosting numerous sanctioned tournaments, producing world-class certified waterski officials, and being the home to world, national, and regional champions.
