Photo by Janice Hoffman.Canyon Lake resident Janice Hoffman recently formed the Canyon Lake Kids Run Club to “get kids out of the house and moving.” The club offers kids the opportunity to exercise with other children in the community.
Starting August 11, members of the club will meet every Tuesday at Gault Field on Longhorn Drive. Parents must stay at the field with their children. Stretching starts at 8 a.m., running starts at 8:30 a.m. Running goals will be set and will vary depending on each age group.
Participants will need running shoes, a water bottle, and a journal to track laps. Parents are welcome to run with their children.
“Based on the ever-changing school schedules, the meeting date and time may change,” Janice said.
