Canyon Lake’s iconic Parade of Lights Boat Parade returns on Saturday, December 10. Boats will line up at the East Port Park boat launch area at 5 p.m. The parade will start at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Celebrating its 40th year, the Parade of Lights features a flotilla of festively-decorated boats touring the lake and spreading holiday cheer. With the Yacht Club’s iconic fire-breathing Green Dragon leading the way, boats will travel around the East Bay and main lake. The only coves the boats will be entering are Big Bass and Catfish.

Once the boats reach the boat tunnel, there will be a 30 to 40-minute break to allow the parade to regroup and allow the boats that are too large to fit through the tunnel to relaunch on the main lake. This year, the parade will end at Happy Camp where residents and their guests can get a close-up look at the boats.

All boat owners are encouraged to participate in this Canyon Lake tradition. There is no entry fee. Only registered boats will be eligible for prizes. Registration forms will be available on the Yacht Club’s website at Registration forms are due no later than Friday, December 9.
