During the July 10 meeting of the Canyon Lake POA Board of Directors, the board announced its goals for 2023/2024 and a five-year plan.
The goals include fiscal control and financial management and making sure the POA operates within its budget, executing already approved projects as committed, enhancing community safety and security, improving the relationships with the city and Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District, and enhancing community engagement.
The plan for the fiscal year 2024 includes completing the lodge renovation, year two of the pavement improvement project, driving range improvements, motorcycle parking shade and security, tennis patio shade, swim-up docks at some of the beaches, and monument signs at the north and Estates entrance gates.
Improvements for the fiscal year 2025 include walking paths for the lower part of Outrigger Park, landscaping and turf around main gate fountain, pontoon-only rental docks at Eastport, year three of the pavement improvement project, and additional enhancements at Happy Camp.
The plan for the fiscal year 2026 includes golf course bunker renovation, start design for country club addition and expansion, restore golf maintenance yard and buildings, and year four of the pavement improvement project.
The plan for the fiscal year 2027 includes replacing Gault Field lighting with LED fixtures, lake erosion control measures, and year 5 of the pavement improvement project.
