The Canyon Lake POA Board of Directors approved $295,862 for the Tennis Area Shade Project. This project is aimed at refurbishing the picnic area adjacent to the tennis courts.
Among the five bids the POA received, the low base bid stands at $183,087, covering all concrete work, retaining walls, ADA ramp, electrical, irrigation, drainage, shade assembly, demo, disposals, and temporary fencing.
The two shade structures, including freight and engineered drawings, permit, six concrete benches, two concrete waste containers, and a barbecue charcoal waste container will cost an additional $112,773.
The funds will come from the Capital Improvement Fund and include an eight-percent contingency. The project is expected to start in the first quarter of 2024.
