The Canyon Lake POA Board approved a 28-day reading to revise LM.10.2b. Rule LM.10.2b requires all boats without a service seal to be inspected and complete a Canyon Lake POA Boat Inspection Form prior to launch.
Currently, there is no fine attached to this rule. On Tuesday, the board revised the rule to include a fine of $100.
Boats that do not leave the community require no action. Boats leaving the community for gas, repairs and/or offsite storage can get a service seal from Marine Patrol or the Watch Commander on any shift by stopping at any gate to be checked and have the service seal affixed. The service seal must not be removed or the boat will be subject to re-inspection.
