Canyon Lake POA Board approves funding for community garden

The Canyon Lake POA Board of Directors on Tuesday approved $16,000 in funding for a community garden area. The funding is for grading, irrigation, sod removal, and the installation of a fence.

The green belt at Evans Park North is the designated location for the garden. Community members will have the opportunity to grow their own individual gardens in raised planter beds in this area.

Spaces will be awarded through a lottery system through the POA. Raised planter beds will be the responsibility of the users.
